Pete started guiding in Colorado on the Arkansas River back in 1994. After 4 fun years of rafting and teaching skiing in Colorado, he decided to return to the rivers of Oregon where he first fell in love with rafting and kayaking. He started Blue Sky Rafting with 2 rafts, 1 van and 1 other part-time guide. Pete was the editor and a contributing author for Soggy Sneakers, the primary guidebook to the rivers of Oregon. When he's not on the river guiding, he is usually kayaking or thinking about kayaking. Paul is renaissance man when it comes to the outdoors. In addition to guiding for Blue Sky for the last 6 years, Paul enjoys kayaking, mountain climbing, mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing and any other sport that gets him outside. |

Although Nate has only been guiding with us for 2 years, he's been rafting since before he can remember. He cut his teeth on family rafting trips down some of the classic multi-day rivers in Oregon and Idaho. A people person, Nate can't help but have a smile on his face when he's rafting. Customers love his enthusiasm, supportive nature, and desire to have fun on the river. |

Matt is a true free spirit. He is interested in everything from rafting, kayaking, and canoeing to heritage building techniques to hunting and gardening. Matt brings a whole lot of enthusiasm and energy to everything he does except in the morning when he's been known to nap on the way to the river. |
