Pete Giordano

Pete started guiding in Colorado on the Arkansas River back in 1994. After 4 fun years of rafting and teaching skiing in Colorado, he decided to return to the rivers of Oregon where he first fell in love with rafting and kayaking. He started Blue Sky Rafting with 2 rafts, 1 van and 1 other part-time guide. Pete was the editor and a contributing author for Soggy Sneakers, the primary guidebook to the rivers of Oregon. When he's not on the river guiding, he is usually kayaking or thinking about kayaking. Some of his adventures are documented on his guidebook webpage, Oregon Paddling and on his friend Jason Rackley's hugely popular webpage, Oregon Kayaking.

Paul is a renaissance man when it comes to the outdoors. In addition to guiding for Blue Sky since 2001, Paul enjoys kayaking, mountain climbing, mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing and any other sport that gets him outside.

Nate has been guiding with us for 4 years, but he's been rafting since before he can remember. He cut his teeth on family rafting trips down some of the classic multi-day rivers in Oregon and Idaho. A people person, Nate can't help but have a smile on his face when he's rafting. Customers love his enthusiasm, supportive nature, and desire to have fun on the river.
